A tanulmány sorra veszi az Annales Alamannici (Sváb Évkönyv) 863. évi avar vonatkozású hírének eddigi értelmezéseit, felhívva a figyelmet arra, hogy ez végső soron leginkább a morvák között élő avaroknak a kereszténység elleni támadásáról vagy ahhoz való csatlakozásáról szólhat, a Cirill-Konstantin és Metód-féle térítés idején.

The paper reviews the interpretations of the Annales Alamannici (Swabian Yearbook) of 863, which is related to the Avars, pointing out that it may ultimately be about the attack of the Avars who live among the Moravians against Christianity or on the contrary on joining the new faith, at the time of the Christian conversion activity of Cyril-Constantinus and Methodius.
