In 1927, one of the most prestigious finds from the Hungarian Conquest period was found in Gesztered, the most beautiful piece of which is a gold-mounted saber. Under the leadership of goldsmith, jeweller Ádám Strohmayer, after years of archaeological and goldsmith research and experimentation, a copy of the famous authentic saber was completed in 2023.
