A Dunai Vízlépcső építését megelőző régészeti kutatások során kerültek napvilágra Visegrád-Gizellamajorban egy 4. századi római kiserőd maradványai és a hozzá tartozó temető. A temetőben a kereszténységhez köthető többféle emlékanyagot ismertetjük és próbáljuk értékelni a jelen munkában.

The information gained about the cemetery in Visegrád-Diós belonging to the fortress of Viseg-rád-Gizellamajor is being processed. From among the finds of more than 226 excavated graves we present here several artifacts and remnants of structures that can be linked to Christianity. When describing Grave 128, we touch upon the possible ways of mural making, since the clo-sure wall as well as perhaps the interior of the barrel-vaulted burial chamber with cab entrance had been painted. Unfortunately, the fragments are not sufficient for the identification of the images but allow for their interpretation. Since the limes has only provided some scattered rem-nants that can be linked to Christianity, the finds from the cemetery of Diós may offer a new field of research in this respect.
